Some time ago, a good friend of mine was looking for a job in the field of education. However, he faced many difficulties in finding a suitable position because his qualification did not meet the qualifications required by the institution. The problem of private publishers, in the context of the Pakistani education system is that their books are very expensive, although they are affordable by students, especially those who have parents or guardians who are able to bear the expenses. These books are also available for sale in other countries through agents and sales agents. However, it is important to note that these books are subject to international market forces and may be difficult to get hold of in some parts of the world. Moreover, they may be more expensive than what they cost in Pakistan because different currencies apply in different countries around the world. Finally, getting them shipped abroad can become a challenge since not all delivery services reach all corners of the world.

Many students like me confess to facing problems in the purchase of books because the cost of most commercial publishers is beyond their means. Of course, there are some private publishers who choose to sell their books at a discounted price, but most of them do not. Therefore, most students have no choice but to turn to less expensive means for acquiring their course books. Some students have been known to use photocopies of previous years' textbooks as a way out of this problem.

However, this is a very risky strategy that can cost a student dearly in the long run because it may lead to poor performance or even failure in an examination held at the end of the academic year. In addition to this, certain topics may remain unclear because of the insufficient knowledge of those students who have opted for this strategy. On the other hand, there are teachers who do not allow their students to use photocopies of private publishers' books because they consider them as a form of cheating. Other teachers have a different opinion and believe that if a student has a good command over the subject being taught in school, he or she should be given free rein to read whatever copy of a book s/he desires.

In view of the above discussion, it is evident that publishers' books can help children and teenagers in acquiring quality education but they cannot replace qualified teachers.
